“Junk Removal” We Love Our Job

Lovin’ It!

Everyday I wake up, I roll out of bed, take a quick shower, get a cup of coffee, and then walk outside to the beautiful weather of Atlanta, and get in my “junk removal” truck. I couldn’t ask for more, it is seriously, in my mind, the greatest job in the world! I’m not just saying that either, I really do feel like I have a great job, and I truly love it, and there is a few reasons for it.

First, we get to roll through Atlanta every day. It’s a beautiful city, with gorgeous weather and people, and there is always something going on, or something to see in Atlanta. What’s not love about the heart of the south!

Second, I get to work with awesome people. Two of the guys that I work with on a regular basis is my brother, and my best friend. I mean it doesn’t get better than that.

Third, I don’t have to sit in a cubicle, or even an office for that matter. We are out and about everyday, and on top of that, we are ALWAYS going somewhere different. Our crew is never in the same place two days in a row, always new and exciting adventures. The guys on our crew weren’t built for the boring mundane desk jockey job, no, we love the open road baby!

Fourth, our customers rock! I mean that too. We get to deal with some of the coolest people, and we get to kick it with them in their home too, gotta love that. A job like this can truly show you the better side of people, because they are always in a great mood when we show up, because heck, we’re the ones that are riding them of all that JUNK.

Fifth, we get to deal with JUNK! That might not seem to most like a fun thing, but you would be wrong. It’s a relief to deal with a new project, or a new pile of junk every single day. No pile of junk is alike, they’re all different, and they keep us on our toes.

Sixth, and probably most important, we get to help people, and we help in different ways. First, we are helping those people who have junk, because we come in and remove it all for them. It’s wonderful to see the smiles, and joy on their faces when all that junk and clutter that was consuming their lives is finally gone, and knowing you were responsible for getting rid of it is just a great feeling. Second, we give back to the same community that has been so good to us year after year. We give back by donating and recycling tons and tons of the items that we receive. Giving just makes the heart grow founder, and with this job, and with being a Stand Up Guy, we give and give and give….I love it!
