When you rent a dumpster, you don’t have to worry about taking the junk to the dump, but you do still have to worry about finding someone to help you fill up the dumpster, or do it yourself. Dumpsters are more expensive then taking it to the dump, but it’s nice not having to take so many trips there yourself. One problem with a dumpster though, is the fact that they give you an enormous one, and whether you fill it up or not, you have to pay for the whole thing. Plus, they are really bad on your driveway because of their enormous size.
• More Hassle, More Money: Rent a truck. You could always rent a moving truck, or one from home depot, and take everything to the dump yourself. This is very similar to the first one, but this is an option if you don’t have a friend with a pick up truck. Moving trucks are bigger than pick ups though, so you could save yourself the multiple trips to the dump. You still have to fill it yourself, pay for the dump fees, and pay for the truck though.
• Less Hassle, More Money: Hire a Junk Removal Company. You could look through the phone book, or search the internet and find any old junk removal company to come out and take it all away for you. When you hire just anyone though, you must realize, you don’t always know what your going to get. Are they going to be on time? Are they going to be respectful of you and your home?
