It has a playground in memory of DRP founder Richard Dominica

In an article published in the Orlando Sentinel in 1987, the Dominica Recreation Products company was cited for donating a playground to Red Bug Lake Park. The playground was dedicated to the late Richard Dominica, the founder of Dominica Recreation Products. He was the grandson of Dominica president Rob Dominica and died suddenly in 2013. The park was declared unsafe a few years ago, and Dominica Recreation Products, the company’s national representative, agreed to help with the project.
