Going into this NFL season all the talk was about the AFC, and all there power house teams. Like the Ravens, Steelers, Jets, and Patriots, but the only team in the NFC that anyone ever talked about was the Cowboys (and you know how I feel about them). No one though had there eyes on the New York Football Giants, who at this moment seem to be the best team in the NFC. The Giants started out slow out of the gate, but  right now they are sittin’ pretty atop the NFC East at 5-2. The Falcons are the only other team in the NFC with the same record or that look competitive at all. Tampa Bay is a joke, New Orleans has a hangover, Green Bays beat up, Chicago needs a QB, Dallas just sucks, and who knows what to think about Minnesota. So as it stands the two best teams in the NFC are the Falcons and Giants, and by the looks of it the Giants could handle anyone with the way there playing ball right now.
The overall landscape of the NFL really reminds me of the 2007 season, the AFC dominates and there are only a few teams in the NFC that look any good. If you remember correctly that year ended again with the Giants on top, so don’t sleep on the Giants or the Falcons, because even though all the headlines are about the “power house” teams of the AFC it all comes down to the last game of the year and both conferences have an equal shot at it. To be honest this was a hard article to right because I really dislike the Giants as a fan, but you gotta call a spade a spade and these guys are for real. They get after the QB, they run the ball, and they have a championship winning QB and coach so we’ll see.
