I am really pumped about this years World Series, but is anybody else in America? Major League Baseball was really hoping that this year would be a repeat of last years World Series, mainly because of all the stories, all the ratings and in turn, all the money, but nope that didn’t happen. Sorry to say it but I personally don’t think that anyone outside of everyday baseball watchers, or San Fran and Texas fans care at all. If its not the Yankees or the Red Sox in the World Series it seems like nobody cares at all, now thats sad they baseball has really come down to that, but it is what it is.
Now me on the other hand, I couldn’t be more excited for this series. I have been absolutely falling in love with the Texas Rangers over the last month. The players seem like they just love the game, the manager seems like he loves his players, and its great to see Dallas caring about something other than those stupid Cowboys. I’ve also been rooting for the Giants as well, ever since they knocked off my beloved Braves that is. They are also just a whole lot of fun to watch. Timmy the “Freak” is quickly turning into my favorite player to watch, I mean he is all of 5″8 and 175lbs, but he throws like a beast, and he doest mess around with hitters he goes right after him, whats not to love. Don’t even get me started on Cliff Lee, I could talk about how amazing he is for hours on end, Cliff’s greatness goes without saying.
So if you’re on the fence about this years World Series I recommend that you jump on in, because its gonna be a whole lot of fun. Don’t be surprised if this one comes down to the last inning in the seventh game, yep it doesn’t get much better than that.
