Located near the town of Willow Spring, the 76-acre park will be home to a variety of facilities. It will include an open-air shelter, playground, kayak launch, T-pier, and a new splash pad. It will also feature solar panels, geothermal energy, and public art.
The park is expected to open in 2024. The Master Plan for the park includes hiking trails, nature play areas, and blueway access. The park will also feature public art and a wildlife viewing platform. It will also include community gardens.

When finished, the fields will be used by the North Carolina Football Club, who will be the stewards of the site. The complex is also home to the Knightdale Farmers’ Market at Knightdale Station, which features a plethora of fun, albeit free, activities including food truck rodeos, live entertainment, and a plethora of greenways.
