Short ‘Junk’ Story That Will Warm Your Heart
This is why we do what we do! It’s more than just ‘junk removal‘ to us. This business is about helping people whenever we can and being ‘stand up guys.’ At Stand Up Guys Junk Removal we have a unique platform on which we can help people in different situations. This little story was one of those.
Christian, one of our sweetest and lovable SUG characters, was made aware that a boy living down the street from him, DJ, had his bike stolen over the weekend. When Christian heard this sad news, he wanted to do what he could to help. Being in the unique business that we are in, he knew that if he kept his eyes open he could find a way to right this wrong for DJ.
Just a few days later, a customer of Stand Up Guys in Dallas was getting rid of junk and other unwanted items from her garage. One of the items she was parting ways with was her sons old bike (which was slightly broken and in need of some light repairs). Christian saw his opportunity to help DJ.
Christian took the bike home after work. On his own free time, he looked it over and found what was wrong with it. He repaired a few minor things and just like that the bike was as good as new. In all his joy, Christian hopped on and rode the bike down to his neighbors house and surprised DJ with his brand new bike!
This is what it’s all about. Christian is the epitome of a Stand Up Guy! He didn’t do this because he had too, nor was he even asked. He took the time to find, repair and bring this bike to a boy that needed one out of the kindness and goodness of his heart. Thanks for being you, Christian.
